Years ago, at the age of 10, I picked up a new found love of hair. I'd have spa days with my grandmother which consisted of polishing her nails and toes & playing in her hair. Short after, I started doing this style called "Rope Twist" which was very popular in Miami at the time. Not once did I think I'd make it a career but I'm glad I did. I moved to Louisville, Kentucky for High School and this is where I met my mentor Shonna Johnson. She was also my assistant track coach but had her own salon in Louisville. After practice I'd leave with her and she's reward me for shampooing all clients. Shortly after, I graduated High School and went off to college at Alabama State University where I took my talents to expand. This is when i earned my name "The Girl Who Twist". I made it my business to bring twist to another state and make a name for myself. I Studied Psychology because I knew I'd be helping others and making their situation at hand a better one for the rest of my life. I then started to think how I've been satisfying clients and growing their hair for years, why not make it a profession? After graduation in December 2013, I moved to Atlanta, Georgia to reside. I enrolled and graduated from Fayette Beauty Academy with my Master Cosmetology License. Specializing in "natural healthy hair" it is very important to me to grow and not hinder your hair. My focus is to tie in my love for hair with my psychology degree & counsel my clients when they need me. I can guarantee that you will see results in your growth and texture every time you leave my chair. I enjoy doing other styles as well such as: sew ins, quick weaves, box braids, ghana braids, and wig applications.. Take a look around and browse some of my outstanding work.
